I chose Strength and Conditioning because the field is forever changing.  I love the idea of being challenged everyday, because no two athletes are the same.  Every athlete needs special attention and a program specifically designed to meet his or her desires.   It is a field that is always growing therefore there are always new techniques and theories to learn and studies being conducted.

For as long as I can remember I have been involved in sports, whether competitively or recreationally, sports have been a paramount activity in my life.  I perceive sports as the ultimate outlet.  Whether it is working out or playing a game, it is the one time of day that nothing else matters besides you. All outside variables are erased and your entire focus is on your personal achievement, no matter what is going on in your life or the lives of people closest to you.

I have always considered my previous coaches role models and still do to this day.  Each of their coaching strategies was very distinctive, yet none of them were incorrect.  That’s the brilliance of this field. There are so many ways to do the same thing, and so much research backing up each of them.

I want to do this, because I want to help people forget about their outside lives and focus on enhancing themselves, and reaching new levels of greatness.  The only feeling better than setting personal goals and achieving them, is giving others the tools and guidance to achieve their own goals.
