Hello! My name is Ashley Caouette, and I am from a very small town in Massachusetts, called Blackstone. It’s one of those single stoplight, everyone knows everyone kind of towns. I am in my final semester at Bridgewater State University where I was fortunate enough to play field hockey for the past four years. Last summer (2011) I actually gained the opportunity of a lifetime, and traveled to Australia with a field hockey team that consisted of athletes mainly from the East Coast to represent the USA in a tournament. It was the absolute best experience of my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I owe my interest in this field mostly to the great Strength and Conditioning/Athletic Training staff that I was exposed to throughout my time as a college athlete at BSU. I am excited to actually see the differences between Division I and III athletic programs, which I was only able to make assumptions about in the past.
