During the Spring semester of 2012 I will be completing my second internship with the Northeastern University Strength and Conditioning Department, my first of which being in the Summer of 2011.  During the Summer I was privileged to work with all three strength coaches at NU, as well as many other members of their Sports Performance Department.  Throughout my first experience at Northeastern I was exposed to many areas of strength and conditioning; such as programming, corrective exercise, muscle activation, prehab, rehab, and what it takes to develop a Division I athlete.  All helping to develop my abilities as a future strength coach.

Since first writing my bio in the Summer there is much to update.  First being that I am currently entering my final semester at Bridgewater State University, and in the fall I will be receiving a degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science and Health Fitness.  With that approaching I am in the midst of my application process to grad school.  Along with Northeastern I will be applying to grad schools all over the country to programs ranging from nutrition to sports performance.  Also, during the Fall semester of this year I was able to complete an internship at Boston College, where I was able to work with another fantastic Strength Staff.  I hope to bring the skills that I took away from that experience and become a more valuable assistant to the Northeastern Staff.
